Administration Coordinator
Location: Porirua
Contract: Permanent, Part Time (0.8FTE)

About the Role
We are looking for an Administration Coordinator who is highly organised, customer‑focused, and confident managing a busy workload. In this role, you will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of a well‑established administration team and provide essential support to our clinical staff. This is a fast‑paced, varied position suited to someone who enjoys responsibility, problem‑solving, and working collaboratively.
This position is worked across four days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday), with standard hours of 8:00am to 4:30pm.
The salary band for this role is $80,186 - $83,884, depending on experience.

You will bring a proactive, motivated approach and the skills to keep a dynamic environment running smoothly. To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer‑centred approach
- Confident, up‑to‑date knowledge of common computer systems and software
- Proven ability to manage competing tasks and perform well under pressure
- Previous experience in a healthcare administration setting is an advantage, but not essential
About the Team/Service/ Location
The Porirua Community Mental Health team provides supports mental health services and will engage with a wide range of adult clients.
The hospital and health services of the Districts provide a range of services, one such group of services includes Mental Health, Addiction and Intellectual Disability (MHAID) Service.
MHAIDS spans two districts - Wairarapa, Capital, Coast and Hutt Valley and includes local, regional, and national services. The local MHAID services are provided from multiple sites within the sub-region – Greater Wellington, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa.
