Administrator - Anaesthesia and Pain Management
Location: Wellington Regional Hospital
Contract: Permanent, Part Time (0.8 FTE)

About the Role
If you are an organised individual with excellent administration skills and experience supporting a team this interesting and varied role could be for you. The Department of Anaesthesia and Pain Management is seeking a permanent part-time customer focused Administrator to provide support to the department, and to the wider service as directed. We require someone who can be relied upon to get the job done.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a frontline administration role, a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and a demonstrated ability to work to deadlines and produce high-quality work. Your multi- tasking and prioritisation skills are going to come in handy. You will be a team player and able to juggle changing priorities. Knowledge of the health sector is desirable although not essential.
The salary band for this role is $76,000 - $84,000 (pro rata), depending on experience.
About the Team/Service/ Location
The Department provides Anaesthesia and Pain Management Services in the Wellington and Kenepuru Hospital. The administration team provides support to the Operations Manager, Clinical Director, clinical Head of Department and clinical Deputy Head of Department, Clinical Leaders, Senior Medical Officers, Registrars and to the wider service as directed.
About you
The successful applicant will have:
- Competency in Microsoft office
- Skills in Calendar Management, and correspondence
- Experience in meeting administration including minute-taking
- HR administration and business support
- Proven experience in a people-facing administration role
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
