About the Role 

Join our Pasifika Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) as an Administrator and play a key role supporting our clinical team to deliver high-quality, culturally responsive care for young people and their whānau.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating appointments and manage referrals
  • Maintaining accurate client records and information systems
  • Supporting clinicians with high-quality administrative services
  • Acting as the first point of contact for clients, whānau, and stakeholders

We are looking for someone to work on a full-time basis from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday.

The salary band for this role is $73,476 - $76,551, depending on experience. 

About the Team/Service/ Location 

Our Mental Health, Addiction and Intellectual Disability Service (MHAIDS) provides specialist care across the region, working closely with community, primary, and secondary providers to support the wellbeing of the people we serve. As part of a large, collaborative service, you’ll contribute to a team committed to delivering high-quality, integrated care and improving outcomes for diverse communities, including Māori and Pasifika populations.

About you 

You’re an organised and proactive administrator who takes pride in delivering excellent service and keeping things running smoothly. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, supporting others, and making a real difference behind the scenes.

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Experience in an administrative role (health or community experience is a bonus)
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with a diverse range of people
  • Excellent organisation and time management, with the ability to juggle priorities
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data systems
  • A professional, reliable approach and the ability to handle confidential information

You’re a team player who builds positive relationships, stays calm under pressure, and shows respect for diverse cultures, with an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles.
