Administrator - TCT
Location: Wellington Regional Hospital
Contract: Permanent, Part-Time (0.8 FTE)

About the Role
The Transplant and Cellular Therapies (TCT) administrator is a new role to the TCT programme and the Haematology service. The TCT administrator provides comprehensive administrative and coordination support to ensure the efficient delivery of patient care services within the TCT programme. This role is responsible for facilitating patient logistics, supporting clinical staff, maintaining accurate documentation and contributing to effective communication across multidisciplinary teams.
This role is Monday to Friday, with one weekday off (to be agreed), working 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexibility around hours.
The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 depending on experience.
About the Team
The Transplant and Cellular Therapies (TCT) programme sits within the Haematology service and performs approximately 30 allogeneic and 25 autologous stem cell transplants annually, in patients 16 years and over, as a regional service. Both related and unrelated allogeneic transplants are performed. The New Zealand Blood Service (NZBS) provides apheresis collection and processing services for peripheral blood stem cells (PBSC), and the programme is affiliated with the New Zealand Bone Marrow Donor Registry (NZBMDR).
About you
To be successful in this newly created role, you will bring:
- Initiative, motivation, and drive to establish efficient systems and processes.
- Proven experience in high level office administration, including effective filing and information retrieval system management (2-3 years’ experience desired)
- Working knowledge and proficiency in computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and PowerPoint. Web based communication.
- Understands, manages and problem solves with technology
- Efficient and proven minute-taking skills
- Knowledge of the health environment is desirable but not a necessity
