About the Role
This is an essential role situated in the Infant, Child, Adolescent Family Service (ICAFS) which provides secondary support to tangata whaiora and their whānau within the community.
This role is a varied, interesting and sometimes challenging position working in a supportive and collaborative environment. The work is a mix of front facing reception duties and clinical administrative tasks, including but not limited to taking minutes, providing administrative assistance to the wider team and attending a range of meetings. This is a role that allows for professional growth, training and opportunity for new experiences.
The full salary range is $72,035 - $79,573.
About the Team/Service Location
ICAFS is a community-based team that provide specialist assessment and treatment for 0 – 18 year olds and their families/ whanau. We offer a range of therapeutic approaches as well as having two specialist treatment teams, family therapy (with a screening team) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). ICAFS functions with an admin team of 3, as well as a large clinical team of passionate clinicians, including Social Workers, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Nurses, and Psychotherapists.
About you
The successful applicant will be able to work collaboratively and supportively with the admin team and clinical team members. The person suitable for this role will also have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a front facing health sector environment. Other skills and experience we are looking for include:
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
- Ability to move from one task to another with ease
- Can prioritise tasks in an often times fast paced environment
- Meet and greet patients, visitors and Te Whatu Ora staff with professionalism and care.
- Ability to prioritise the health, safety, confidentiality and privacy of our service users and staff alike
