Cancer MDM Co-ordinator (0.5 FTE) based at Hutt Hospital
Location: Primarily Hutt Valley Hospital
Contract: Permanent, Part Time 0.5 FTE

About the Role
We are looking for someone who will co-ordinate, support and manage our MDM meetings based in Hutt Hospital. The role involves preparing agendas and documentation for the meetings to ensure all information is available for the attendees in advance and ensuring that all meeting outcomes are recorded in an accurate and timely manner. We seek a person who cannot only manage the day to day running of the meetings but also help identify and implement improvement opportunities. Some travel may be required to and from Hutt and Wellington campuses. A clean driver's licence is essential. The REM is $73,476 - $81,164 pending qualifications, experience and skillset.
Multidisciplinary Cancer meetings are defined as a regularly scheduled meeting where representatives from specific services get together to discuss appropriate diagnostic tests and suitable treatment options for an individual cancer patient. The MDM Coordinator maintains the responsibility of planning and co-ordinating MDMs, communicating and interacting with clinicians and collecting quality data.
About the Team
You will be part of a large group of clinical typists who are highly specialized in transcription work. The team provides transcription services to clinical staff across the DHB, delivering high quality, accurate work with timely turnaround. Our team is diverse, fun, multi-cultural and hard working. We pride ourselves on making a positive contribution to the patient journey, working together and supporting each other to do so.
The Patient Administration Service (PAS) is a group of five services which work together to support the patient journey from referral to a CCDHB treatment provider, right through to discharge. PAS goals are to provide high quality, efficient and effective administration support to enable clinical staff to concentrate on patient care.
About you
You will be a highly experienced Co-ordinator who has excellent administrative skills, a good command of English and a positive attitude.
