Clinical Psychologist - Central Region Eating Disorder Service

About the role
The Central Region Eating Disorder Service (CREDS) is looking for a dynamic, energetic psychologist to join our unique multi-disciplinary team.
About the Team/Service/ Location
CREDS offers treatment and therapy services to individuals with eating disorders, as part of the Mental Health, Addictions and Intellectual Disability Service (MHAID) operated by the Wairarapa, Hutt Valley and Capital and Coast District Health Boards. We provide a full range of specialist services to people with eating disorders in the greater Wellington area – from nutritional counseling, outpatient therapy and psycho-social education through to a 6-bed residential care facility and 7am-7pm therapeutic Day Programme.
This exciting role will involve provision of clinical psychology assessment, intervention and treatment services to individuals (1:1 and groups) and their families.
About you
If you are passionate about restoring the wellness of those impacted by eating disorders, have excellent clinical skills and enjoy working amongst a tight-knit and caring team then please do not hesitate to apply.
You must have;
- Minimum of a Masters Degree in Psychology and Post graduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
- Registration with NZ Psychologist Board, with Clinical Psychology as Vocational Scope of Practice.
- Current annual practising certificate.
