Clinical Psychologist for South Community Mental Health Team
Location: Wellington Community
Contract Permanent Part Time (0.8 FTE) Monday to Friday

About the Role
This role is part of a multi-disciplinary team and holds responsibility for clinical psychology support to the team, particularly through individual & group-based assessment and treatment, consultation, supervision, formulation and assistance with programs that enhance continuous quality improvement.

The South community mental health team is a friendly supportive team, with a recognition that enjoying our mahi enhances our service delivery. Covering the Southern and Eastern suburbs of wellington affords us a diverse caseload of clients with equally diverse needs. We strive to provide a service that fits the range of needs we encounter and puts the person at the centre of what we do.
About you
- Registration in the Clinical Scope of Psychology
- Proven experience in working with highly complex client presentations.
- Experience/training in multiple therapeutic/assessment approaches.
- Experience of stepped care/management of referrals for psychological therapies.
- Experience of providing clinical supervision to others.
- Experience of undertaking quality improvement initiatives relevant to clinical psychology.
