Clinical Records Administrator

Contract: Permanent full-time

About the Role 

In this role you will be responsible for tracking, preparing, creating, maintaining and filing patient medical records. At times this can be both a busy and physically demanding role and therefore you need to be reasonably fit, and function effectively as part of a team while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.  This role would suit someone with an understanding of the health sector or records management. The salary range is $58,150 - $64,584

About the Team/Service Location 

Our team in Clinical Records are responsible for the safe, effective and efficient management of patient records. Our goal is to ensure we deliver a well-organised and timely administrative support function that is responsive and flexible to the changing needs of the service and organisation.

About you 

  • Administration experience in a health environment
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise changing workloads while preserving accuracy and confidentiality
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work unsupervised (where applicable) 
  • High level of English comprehension with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of the Privacy Act and other legislation relevant to patient records
