Community Mental Health Nurse

Contract: Permanent. Full and part time roles available (0.4fte upwards for part time)
Salary: $81683 - $106739 (PSA) pro rata for part time

Community mental health services are at the beginning phase of some exciting changes that further enhance our capacity to engage with the people in our communities to best support recovery. This is a chance to join the service now and be part of the transformation of our service.
You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of tangata whaiora and their whanau and utilise your current skills as well as develop your practice.

The South community mental health team is a friendly supportive team, with a recognition that enjoying our mahi enhances our service delivery. We have a range of clinical skills and personalities that mean you can find your place with us. Covering the Southern and Eastern suburbs of wellington affords us a diverse caseload of clients with equally diverse needs. We strive to provide a service that fits the range of needs we encounter and puts the person at the centre of what we do.
Moū – About you
We are looking for an experienced mental health nurse who has a passion for working with adults with complex mental health needs. You must be able to work autonomously as well as contribute to the multi-disciplinary team. Along with a good sense of humour and flexibility, you will require excellent communication and organisational skills as they are an essential part of the day to day work. A drivers licence is required, due to the travel required.
We have both full and part time roles available and can offer you support to further develop your practice.
