Contract: Permanent, Full Time (1 FTE)
Salary: $126,124-$138,057
Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role
The Team Leader is responsible for articulating and driving the direction and goals of the service, ensuring that these objectives are reflected in team and individual plans. This role involves effective communication of goals, establishment of development processes, and active succession planning to support leadership growth within the team.
Mō tō mātou rōpū – About our team
Consult Liaison is disciplinary team based at Wellington Hospital and Hutt Valley Hospitals. The team is comprised of psychiatrists, psychiatric registrars, a psychologist, psychologist interns, nurses and administration staff. Consult Liaison provides support, education and advice to treating teams within Wellington hospital. Consult Liaison also provides assessment and treatment to patient’s requiring urgent Mental Health care whilst experiencing an episode of physical illness.

Moū – About you
- A current Annual Practicing Certificate and scope appropriate to place of work.
- Experienced mental health clinician.
- Clinical team management experience in mental health and/or alcohol/drug field.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the significance of and obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi, including how to apply Te Tiriti principles in a meaningful way.
- A commitment to achieving equitable outcomes for Māori.
- A personal commitment to on-going learning and development.
- Full drivers licence.
- Other relevant tertiary qualification.
- Clinical team management experience in mental health and/or alcohol/drug field.
