Data Administrator
Location: Wellington Regional Hospital
Contract: Permanent, Full-time - Monday to Friday

About the Role
If you are an organised individual with excellent administration skills and experience supporting a team, this interesting and varied role could be for you. The Wellington Operating Theatre is seeking a customer focused Data Administrator to provide data quality reports on patient, clinical and business-related information and provide expertise in the production, analysis and interpretation of information for all levels of the organisation.
The Data Administrator will be key to ensuring excellent communication with all inputs to the department. The holder of this role will work closely with the Patient Flow Coordinators, Nurse Managers and ancillary services. The salary range for this role is $72,035 - $79,573, dependent on experience.
About the Team/Service Location
Perioperative Services on the Wellington Campus provide anaesthesia pre-assessment, surgical admissions, surgery and post-operative care to ambulant discharge for both elective and acute presentations, advanced post-anaesthesia care for all specialties and advanced pain management procedures
Wellington Operating Theatres specialities include cardiac and thoracic, ophthalmology, urology, general, orthopaedic, ENT, paediatrics, neurosurgery, upper GI, vascular, dental, respiratory and obstetrics. We provide a 24 hour service, 7 days a week.
About you
The successful candidate will have proven experience in data and report production. You will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and a demonstrated ability to work to deadlines and produce high quality work. Your multi-tasking and prioritisation skills are going to come in handy. You will be a team player and able to juggle changing priorities. Knowledge of the health sector is desirable although not essential.
