Dietitian – Upper GI/HPB & Bariatrics Outpatients
Location: Wellington Regional Hospital
Contract: Permanent, Part-time 0.3 FTE (job share considered, flexibility with days)

About the Role

We are seeking a dietitian to provide specialised nutrition care for adults undergoing surgery in the Upper GI, Hepatobiliary, and Bariatric sub-specialities at Wellington Regional Hospital.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver nutrition assessment and care for patients pre- and post-surgery.
- Work closely with inpatient surgical dietitians to ensure continuity of care across the surgical pathway.
About the Team/Service Location
You’ll join a supportive and collaborative General Surgery team. We are a dedicated, patient-focused group known for clinical excellence and for upholding the values of Manaakitanga, Kotahitanga, and Rangatiratanga.

About You
You will bring:
- Experience supporting patients undergoing Upper GI, Hepatobiliary, or Bariatric surgery.
- Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills, with a flexible, problem-solving approach.
- The ability to build strong relationships with patients, whānau, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
