Location: Kapiti Health Centre, 35 Warrimoo Street, Paraparaumu
Contract: Permanent, Full-time 1.0 FTE rostered and rotating

District Nurse 1.0 FTE – Paraparaumu
Are you an experienced Registered Nurse seeking greater autonomy while working within a diverse and rewarding area of patient care? We have an exciting opportunity available in our Kapiti District Nursing team.
District Nursing is a dynamic and evolving field, offering a multifaceted role that supports patients in their homes and communities. We are looking for compassionate, adaptable Registered Nurse who thrive in autonomous practice and enjoy working collaboratively within a supportive team.

- Flexible shifts, Morning: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Afternoon: 1:30pm – 10:00pm

What we’re looking for:
- Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and confidently in community settings
- Commitment to delivering high quality, patient and whanau centred care
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- A full, New Zealand driver's licence
- Experience in community nursing, palliative care, medical nursing, or wound management is highly desirable; however, we welcome applications from nurses with a broad range of clinical backgrounds
