Executive Assistant - Office of the GDO
Location: Wellington Regional Hospital
Contract: Permanent, Full Time (1.0 FTE)

About the Role
The purpose of the Executive Support position is to provide proactive, high quality, effective, efficient, professional and confidential executive assistance to the Office of the GDO and EA to GDO.
This position assists the Office of the GDO, and the Executive Assistant, with a significant amount of co-ordination to support the offices' ability to focus on its performance priorities and also deputises for the Executive Assistant as necessary.
Activities are, but not limited to:
- Contract Approval process
- Governance meeting co-ordination
- Co-ordination of correspondence such as HDC,
OIAs, DREPs, Ministerials, Complaints and WPQs in liaison with the EA to GDO.

About the Team/Service/ Location
The Office of the GDO supports the GDO, and the Hospital & Specialist Services Leadership team, and the functions and processes for governance and decision-making required by the CCHV District.
CCHV serves a population of 540,000 people with a team of approx. 10,000 staff and providing services to the community across several sites including Kapiti, Kenepuru, Porirua, Hutt Valley and Wellington, with Wellington Regional Hospital providing tertiary level services to the wider region. The Mental Health, Addictions and Intellectual Disability Services (MHAIDS) also sit within this group and provides local, regional and some national services.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience and knowledge in providing pro-active high-level executive/secretarial and administration support in a dynamic and changing environment.
- Experience using a wide range of computer programs and applications and information management systems.
- Ability to effectively manage high volumes of work and conflicting demands.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
