Improvement Programme Manager

Contract: Permanent, Full time

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Improvement Programme Manager to join our Finance, Facilities and Business Services Directorate.

Reporting to the General Manager Non-Clinical Support and Delivery, this interesting and varied role will see you responsible for conducting business improvement projects across the Business Unit and wider directorate. 

One of the key projects you will be responsible for is reviewing the current operating model of the Central Equipment Pool. The growth in assets managed by the team requires a modern asset/inventory tracking system as well as a review of how to best locate the service within 2DHB’s geographic area of influence and the Improvement Programme Manager will lead the scoping and implementation of these changes. 

Additionally, you will also assist with the 2DHB programme of work being undertaken between Hutt Valley DHB and Capital and Coast DHB.

Skills and experience

  • Requirements Analysis and Process Mapping
  • Service Management
  • Relationship Management and high level communication skills
  • Compiling with Health and Safety procedures
  • Programme, Project, and Change Management experience

Previous work experience in the health sector would be beneficial for success in this role.
