Intake and Referral Coordinator for MHAIDS

Contract: Permanent, Full time (1 FTE)

About the Role 

The Intake and Referral Coordinator is a senior role ensuring there are clear access pathways into Mental Health services. The coordinator will also be responsible for providing advice, support, training and leadership to clinical staff within MHAIDS to ensure referrals intake and triaging is consistent across teams and meets the needs of clients who use this service and other services who refer into MHAIDS. The role also liaises with GPs and other health providers as necessary. The salary range for this role is $114,025 - $125,145 depending on experience.

About the Team/Service/ Location 

The position is within MHAIDS Operations Centre which sits across the MHAIDS services. This role reports to the Operations Centre Operational Manager.  This role is based in Porirua but also works across the three districts that make up MHAIDS.

  • Have excellent problem-solving skills, can communicate well and foster a nurturing environment.
