Mental Health Professional For Te Whare Marie, Child and Adolescent Team
Location: Puketiro Centre - Kenepuru
Contract: Permanent, Full time (1 FTE) – Monday to Friday

About the Role
Te Whare Marie is seeking applications from suitably qualified health professionals who are passionate about the provision of Specialist Child and Adolescent Māori Mental Health Services. The case manager will be part of a progressive, innovative and creative whanau/ team providing assessments, interventions and working with the MDT.
About the Team/Service Location
Te Whare Marie is a progressive service that offers specialist Māori Mental Health Services throughout the Wellington and Greater Wellington region. The service offers effective and appropriate assessment, treatment and care management to tamariki, rangatahi and their whānau in a cultural setting, emphasising whanaungatanga, tikanga and Te Reo development. The service strives to meet the needs of tangata whaiora by providing holistic services that respect, value and include whānau beliefs, customs, language and culture.
About you
- Have sound child and youth focused mental health assessment and treatment skills, we are willing to consider new graduates with prior experience and passion.
- Be confident in making effective decisions in challenging/complex situations.
- Post graduate paper in mental health.
- New Zealand registration with APC.
