About the Role

Nau mai, haere mai ki Te Whare Marie. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a mental health clinician to join our specialist Child and Adolescent Maori Mental Health team. The service provides assessment and intervention for children and young people experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties across the Wellington region.

About you

We are seeking a registered Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Clinical Psychologist, or Nurse. Applicants must hold a current practicing certificate. 

You must have experience of working therapeutically and have appropriate mental health assessment skills. Experience working within a CAMHS or YSS setting is preferable. 

An understanding of Tikanga is an advantage, and a willingness to grow in understanding of Te Ao Maori is a must.
