Nurse Educator - IV and Related Therapies

Contract: Permanent, Part time 0.6 FTE, Monday-Friday, 0730-1600

About the Role
Working as part of a small team of other IV specialists you will be responsible for training other nurses in various aspects of IV Therapies, as well as troubleshooting IV-related queries on the wards. Additionally, you will be required to insert PICC lines and USS-guided peripheral lines.
About the Team/Service/ Location
The IV Therapies team consists of two Clinical Nurse Specialists, two other Specialty nurses, a Nurse Educator, and a small number of RNs dedicated to inserting PICC lines, ultrasound-guided peripheral IV lines, and training Wellington Hospital staff in various aspects of IV-related therapy.
About you
- Current APC
- IV therapies knowledge
- At least 5 years RN/CNS/NE experience
