Pathway Intake and Data Administrator
Location: Puketiro Porirua and Te Wao Nui Wellington Hospital
Contract: Permanent, full-time

About the Role
The Child Development Service (CDS) is a multidisciplinary team providing specialist developmental assessment, diagnosis and intervention for children with disabilities and/or developmental delays.
This role will provide administration support to the Pathway Coordinators who are responsible for the oversight and coordination of the CDS client pathways and clinical triaging of referrals to the service. The salary range is $72,035 - $79,573.
Some of your duties will include:
- Assisting in the referral management and intake process
- Supporting communication with families and clinicians
- Being responsible for data management including monitoring data quality
- Assisting with data reporting
About the Team/Service Location
The Child Development team are a committed team of Allied health professionals. The team works within a transdisciplinary model, using a holistic approach to enable children to reach their maximum potential within their families and extended environment.
The team is comprised of the following disciplines: Speech Language Therapists, Visiting Neurodevelopmental Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Clinical Psychologists, Developmental Paediatricians, Social Workers, a Clinical Pathway Coordinator and an ASD Coordinator. We have a small team of support staff to assist with the work undetaken.
About you
You will have previous experience in an administration role and come with a sound knowledge of office administration systems and procedures. Previous experience in a health environment is preferable. Other key skills and experience we are looking for:
- Record of working successfully in an environment that requires dealing with several disciplines
- Ability to maintain patient and office confidentiality in line with the Privacy Act
- Have a clean driver’s license
- Comfortable with lifting and carrying e.g. boxes of documents
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Computer Skills
