About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to provide high-level support to the Clinical Director and Forensic Director, Area Mental Health Services (DAMHS).
This role is ideal for an experienced Personal Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, and delivers efficient and effective administrative support at a Senior Level. The ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism and discretion is essential.
The salary band for this position is $76,705 - $84,754, depending on experience.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Te Korowai Whāriki is a regional and national service provider with a unique identity and a diverse range of stakeholders. Our teams are located across the Central Region, spanning Gisborne, Whanganui, and Wellington.
Te Korowai Whāriki delivers both inpatient and community-based services, supporting tangata whaiora across a range of specialist mental health services.
About you
- Proven experience providing a high level of confidential support to senior leaders
- Ability to deliver a professional frontline service to the management team
- Strong capability in managing sensitive information, including special patient administration, victim notifications, and related planning processes
- Excellent organisational skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple demands under pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, and demonstrate tact, diplomacy, and a good sense of humour
