About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic pharmacist to join our team as a Casual Pharmacist. As a Casual Pharmacist you would be expected to work on an as and when required basis, covering a wide range of clinical areas, as well as the operational areas of our pharmacy, such as dispensary and aseptic production.

About the Team/Service/ Location
The pharmacy team is well respected by clinicians, nursing staff, and senior management across the organisation, and is constantly looking at ways to improve the service and care it delivers. We provide a comprehensive pharmacy service throughout to the Capital Coast and Hutt Valley District, which includes a clinical service, dispensary & logistics service, and a quality & risk service. There is also an aseptic production service at Capital & Coast Hospitals (Wellington & Kenepuru). Through these services, we aim to improve the quality and effectiveness of prescribing, supply and distribution of medicines throughout the Capital Coast and Hutt Valley District. Our teams value professional growth, and emphasizes clinical development and medicines optimization for our patients.
About you
This role would suit someone who is looking for flexible working hours and has experience working in the health sector, particularly in the hospital setting. Training, however, could be provided to the right candidate who does not have prior hospital experience. You will need to be registered (or about to register) as a pharmacist in NZ, or be eligible to register.
