About the Role

An exciting opportunity has come up to work with Pacific people, their families and the Pacific community. We are looking for an experience registered Nurse to join our specialist team to provide cultural and clinical mental health care for our Pacific people.

The role is fixed term to cover parental leave.

About the Team/Service Location

We are a small dynamic team working with Pacific people and families. We are a diverse team from different ethnic backgrounds, we share the same passion in delivering quality care. We are welcoming, culturally grounded, humorous, professional and outgoing.  Spiritual aspect is part of who we are within our work.

About you

We are looking for a registered Nurse with good communication skills and must be able to adapt and work collaboratively as a team.

You must be able to adapt to different ethnic groups, knowledge and understanding of Pacific health models and needs.  Have excellent time management and people skills.  You will be able to make community networks and have the ability to work under pressure. 

  • Hold a current annual practicing certificate.
  • Opportunities are provided in training to further develop within your role.
  • Must have a full driver’s license.
  • Meet police vetting requirements
