Salary:         PSA $84,523 - $99,630 based on skills and experience

Mō tō mātou rōpū – About our team

The Crisis Resolution Service (CRS) provides community based urgent mental health and addiction response to the Hutt Valley and Wellington Regions 24/7. The service is evolving from a centralised response to a more Rapid Response locality based service we provide acute assessment/risk formulation and treatment for those requiring acute mental health interventions by working in partnership with people, whãnau and community agencies.

We are a front-line service and work closely with Emergency Departments, social services, GPs, the Police and tertiary education providers. We assess all people of all ages and refer on to secondary services or back to primary care.

The team is Multi-Disciplinary, comprising of Nurses, Doctors, Allied professional and administrators

Moū – About you

  •  You will be an integral part of Multi-Disciplinary Team
  •  Train to become a Duly Authorised Officer (Mental Health Act (C&T) Act 1992, within 6 months
  •  Work towards your PDRP within a year
  •  Become a preceptor to students
  •  Have a good sense of humour and be able to work within a team

Skills & Experience -

  •  Registered Nurse with at least 3 years' experience working in a mental health setting
  • Full Driver's License essential
  •  Skilled in risk assessments and risk formulations
