Registered Nurse - Integrated Operations Centre


Location: Wellington Regional Hospital or Kenepuru Hospital 

Contract: Fixed Term, rostered and rotating 0.9FTE - From July 2025 – May 2026

About the Role 

A typical working day for a Registered Nurse working for the bureau involves providing compassionate patient care across various healthcare settings. You’ll assess and monitor patient conditions, administer medications, collaborate with medical teams, and ensure patient comfort and safety. Flexibility is key as you may work across different shifts and departments, adapting to varying patient needs. Your role includes documenting medical information, assisting with procedures, and offering emotional support to patients and families. The salary range for this role is NZNO MECA step 2 – 7 - based on skills and experience - pro rata.

Skills and experience

  • 12 months experience in a hospital environment
  • Have completed a CAP or NETP Program
  • Hold a current work visa or have the legal right to work in New Zealand 

All nurses employed by Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley District must have registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and maintain a current Annual Practising Certificate as a Registered Nurse.
