Registered Nurse Interventional Radiology Unit

Contract: Part time/ fixed term 0.8FTE (to cover Maternity leave)
Salary: NZNO Meca RN Step 3-7 based on skills and experience - pro rata for part time
Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role
We have a fixed term part time RN position (0.8FTE) in the Interventional Radiology Unit (IRU) at Wellington Hospital to cover parental leave. IRU is an elective day procedure ward located within the Radiology Department caring for patients having an Interventional Radiology or Cardiology procedure. The focus of the role is preparing patients for their procedure, caring for patients after their procedure and ensuring safe discharge at the end of the period of observation. The hours for the role are Monday – Friday working rostered shifts 0730-1600 or 1130-2000.

Moū – About you
You must have at least two year’s post registration experience in an acute setting preferably with experience in Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab, Cardiac or Surgical nursing. We are looking for someone who is energetic, positive and highly motivated, who has the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.
