Registered Nurse, Orthopaedic & Urology


Location: Wellington Regional Hospital

Contract: Permanent, Part Time 0.8-0.9 Rostered and rotating.

About the Role 

We are looking for experienced Registered Nurses to work in our busy multi-specialty ward. You will have the opportunity to care for patients from Orthopaedic and Urology specialties. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in one of these specialties.

Salary is as per NZNO MECA step 2-7.

About you

The successful applicant will have sound clinical nursing skills, a strong patient focus, and enthusiasm for working in a team. You will be passionate about nursing clinical excellence, innovation and professional development. This role is suitable for a Registered Nurse who has recently completed their graduate year.

  • Registration with NZ Nursing Council
  • Current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Current NZ Work visa
  • Surgical nursing experience preferable

About the Team/Service Location 

Ward 6 North is a 36 bed multi-specialty ward. This service provides care for patients from both Orthopaedics and Urology specialties. Ward 6 North is a supportive team who a friendly and welcoming. On our ward, we have Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Senior Nurses and Health Care Assistants who work collaboratively to provide the best health outcomes for patients.
