Registered Nurse - Orthopaedic Outpatient Clinic
Location: Orthopaedic Outpatient clinic – Kenepuru Hospital, Wellington Regional Hospital
Contract: Fixed Term Part time (0.8 FTE) To cover Parental Leave

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our small but committed team in the busy Orthopaedic Outpatients Department on a fixed term contract.
You will have the opportunity to care for Orthopaedic patients in an Outpatient and Inpatient setting. The role is based in the Wellington Orthopaedic Outpatient Department. Clinics are located in Wellington Regional Hospital, Te Wao Nui and Kenepuru Hospital. Usual hours are Monday to Friday 0800-1630.
The successful applicant will have sound clinical nursing skills, a strong patient focus, and enthusiasm for working in a team. You will be passionate about nursing clinical excellence, innovation and professional development.
About the Team/Service Location
We have a small but committed group of nurses that have a passion for Orthopaedic Nursing with a focus on the art of plaster/cast application and wound care.
About you
The ideal candidate will already have:
- Registration with NZ Nursing Council
- Current Annual Practicing Certificate
- Current NZ Work visa
- Orthopaedic nursing experience
- Plastering experience
- Paediatric experience
