You will enjoy working within a small team, have a willingness to learn and develop, and have sound time management skills. You will be flexible and compassionate, emphasising partnership and advocacy in your approach to care. We are also the Day Unit for Women’s Clinics and you would be required to care and support women undergoing minor gynaecological procedures.

This role is Monday to Friday working either 0800 to 1630 or 0700 to 1530hrs

RNs may be asked to hold the on call phone after hours and Saturdays but only after a period of orientation and practice consolidation. The salary range for this role is Step 3 – Step 7 NZNO MECA pro rata.

Te Mahoe has a small team of dedicated health professionals who provide a regional termination of pregnancy and counselling service. The Team is multidisciplinary consisting of Administration staff, Registered Nurses, Doctors, Counsellors/Social Workers and a HealthCare Assistant. We also work alongside staff in Women’s Clinics to support individuals through minor gynaecological procedures. We are a friendly and supportive team, working collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for the people accessing our service.
