Research Financial Administrator

Contract: Fixed Term, Part-time (0.5 FTE)

About the Role 

Are you experienced in financial administration and passionate about healthcare? We have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a Financial Administrator to support our clinical trials team. This flexible part-time role offers 20 hours per week, with working hours between 08:00 and 16:30, Monday to Friday.

In this position, you'll play a vital role in managing clinical trial budgets and invoice processes, ensuring that financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. If you are a curious, tenacious self-starter with a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

The salary band for this role is $66,000 – $75,000 (pro-rata), depending on experience. 

About the Team/Service Location 

You’ll be working in a multi-disciplinary environment, working with professionals across a wide range of services in the medical, pharmaceutical and laboratory areas, including Trial Sponsors and their representatives. You’ll receive training to manage the clinical trial finances, and there’s scope for learning new skills and gaining qualifications.

About you

You will work closely with various professionals within the clinical trials unit, including those in medical and pharmaceutical services, as well as trial sponsors and their representatives.

  • Previous experience in a Financial Administrative role.
  • Proficient in account management and financial spreadsheets.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, and web-based communication.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with technology.
