Security Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity for a Security Administrator to join our Forensic Inpatient Unit on a permanent basis in Porirua. Why Join Us?

In this key role, you will provide security and administrative support to the Team Leader and multidisciplinary team, helping to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the service. Your work will contribute directly to achieving the team’s goals and delivering high-quality care within a secure environment.
This full-time position is based on a Monday to Friday schedule, with working hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
The salary band for this role is $67,943 - $77,141, depending on experience.
About the Team/Service/ Location
The Central Regional Forensic Mental Health Service provides acute inpatient services across two specialist units:
- Purehurehu – a 15-bed male only unit
- Rangipapa – a 13-bed mixed gender unit
Attached to Rangipapa is Pukeko House, a four-bed rehabilitation and recovery step down facility. Pukeko House supports tangata whaiora/service users as they transition within the inpatient forensic system, focusing on recovery, independence and reintegration.
