Senior Change Lead
Location: Wellington Regional Hospital
Contract: Full time, 24 Months Fixed Term

About the Role
As the Senior Change Lead, you will lead the change management planning and delivery for Hospital and Specialist Services (HSS) projects and change initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and successful implementation of new processes, technologies, facility and organisational changes. You will evaluate the impact of planned service, facility and organisational change and lead change management work streams with a structured methodology / process.
You will work with the other Change and Project Leads to support services transformation, embedding new ways of working and changes in processes. This role involves working closely with various departments, stakeholders, and staff to minimise resistance and maximise engagement. The salary for this position is $121,689 to $152,112 - pending experience, expertise and knowledge.
About the Team/Service Location
Health New Zealand Capital Coast & Hutt Valley District is planning for, and implementing, significant change across a number of infrastructure, service and operational change programmes. The Hospital Network Programme is developing our network of hospitals across the district. The immediate focus is on the Wellington Regional Hospital ED Refurbishment project (Front of Whare) that will relocate and expand our Emergency Department and acute services on the Wellington Regional Hospital site. It is major multi-year infrastructure project, involving significant change for our services, staff and patients. The longer-term focus involves planning for future development of our hospital sites and services.
About you
You will have:
- A relevant graduate qualification
- 5-10 years’ experience at a senior level in the healthcare or public services sector
- 5-10 years’ experience and involvement with large and complex change projects using a PROSCI ADKAR® Model or similar
- Relationship building skills – ability to build strong links with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Energy and enthusiasm to lead change
