Salary: $95,735 - $101,960

ABOUT THE ROLE 

The Senior Medical Radiation Technologist (MRI) is a key member of our vibrant, dynamic and dedicated Radiology team who provide tertiary and acute on call services with our Siemens 3T Skyra and 1.5T Aera MRI scanners at Wellington Hospital. 

DUTIES 

  • Supports the Unit Charge MRT to manage day to day operations of the MRI unit
  • Works within a multidisciplinary team to achieve great outcomes for patients
  • Provides training and gives direction to MRI MRTs and student MRTs

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Current MRI registration, PgD in MRI and an APC with MRTB 
  • 4 years post qualification experience in MRI is preferable
