Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role
The purpose of the role is to provide timely, professional and high quality administrative services to the Operations Manager of the Integrated Operations Centre/Intensive Care Unit.
The role enables the day to day operation to function smoothly and provide the Operations with the expertise, support and service required so they are able to operate efficiently and effectively.
Mō tō mātou rōpū – About our team
The IOC is responsible for the effective operational management of the 24 hours/7 days hospital service delivery at both Wellington Regional Hospital and Kenepuru Hospital. The IOC supports clinical teams, systems, processes and resources that facilitate safe and effective service delivery across the organisation.
The role is part of a wider administration team supporting the Hospital Operations group and it is an expectation that this role will work with other administrators in the group when required.
Moū – About you
You will have general administrative experience and skills along with being enthusiastic, optimistic, with a can-do attitude. Specific skills you will have include:
- Good information communications technology (ICT) skills including use of MS Office products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom
- Data entry skills
- Ability to relate to a range of people
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good administration and organisational skills including planning and prioritisation of work
- Providing general administrative support as needed for meetings and events, e.g. agenda papers, photocopying, booking rooms, catering, taking minutes and follow-up actions for meetings.
