Salary: Starting from $75,471 (dependent on skills and experience)
Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role
Capital Support is an under 65 y/o needs assessment service covering the greater Wellington region. This service works in partnership with disabled people to achieve a better future for people with disabilities.
We have a position available in the team based at Kenepuru Hospital but reaching out to the broader community served by Capital and Coast Te Whatu Ora.
Capital Support will provide ongoing training and support with professional development opportunities.
Mō tō mātou rōpū – About our team
We are a team of 14 (Soon to be 15), made up of Administrators, Service Facilitators and a Service Leader. We are a supportive team with a diverse range of skills/ qualifications and experience. Team culture has been a big focus over the past 10 years, and as a result we are a very strong, respectful and collaborative team. We enjoy supporting each other to grow and learn, which is why we offer plenty of training and development opportunities.
Moū – About you
The work will involve negotiating and facilitating complex service requirements so it is important you have excellent attention to detail, communication and relationship-building skills. Experience within the disability sector and/or of needs assessment and service coordination is advantageous.
This role will suit a person experienced in problem solving, has an empathetic nature and a dedication to making a difference in peoples lives. You will be good with computers, enjoy working in a team environment as well as being comfortable with working autonomously. You’ll be an achiever who can see what needs to be done and gets on with doing it. A commitment to excellent outcomes for clients through working as part of a team is essential.
You must have a current Driver’s License. A relevant qualification that could be applied to Disability Support Services is preferred but not compulsory.
