Service Manager - Inpatient Allied Health
Location: Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley District
Contract: Permanent, Full Time

About the Role
This position provides day to day leadership and management supporting inpatient Allied Health to deliver high quality care.
In this role you will manage a team of 11 Allied Health Team Leaders located across 3 sites and an Allied Health Rehabilitation Consultant. This will include Team Leaders for Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Speech language Therapy and Dietetics at Wellington and Hutt Hospitals and an Allied Health Team Leader based at Kenepuru Hospital.
You will work collaboratively with leadership teams across the organisation to ensure Allied Health services are provided effectively and review models of care for Allied Health to advance the role of Allied Health within the inpatient setting.
About the Team/Service Location
Allied Health teams provide service across the spectrum of care from ED and acute and rehabilitation wards working with people of all ages from new-borns to older adults. You will be managing a team of motivated Allied Health Team Leaders who are passionate about improving people’s access to quality healthcare. As part of the broader Community, Older Persons & Allied Health group you will be well supported in our service and within the wider hospital by operational managers and clinical leads.

With a tertiary qualification in Allied Health you will bring demonstrated skills in leading teams, service development and building positive relationships with stakeholders. You will have experience in supporting teams through change and a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and progressing equity initiatives.
