Team Coordinator, Emergency Department and Birthing Suite

Location: Emergency Department & Birthing Suite Team Coordinator, Wellington Regional Hospital
Contract: Permanent, full time, 40 hours per week.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced team coordinator to provide oversight for staff and reallocation of resources, ensure key performance indicators are met, to support the ongoing improvement of administration processes, and that patient satisfaction is high for the Emergency Department administration team at Wellington Regional Hospital. The salary for this position is $78,614 - $89,491
Duties
- Providing oversight for staff
- Managing day to day issues
- Rostering
- Audits
- Staff orientation and re-training
- Assisting the Team Leader with implementation and review of processes
About the Team/Service
As the successful candidate you will be a committed team player who is computer literate, self-starter, have prioritising skills, have previous data entry skills, can work under pressure and are able to give attention to detail.
Most importantly, you’ll take a lead in customer relationship care, will have the ability to make people feel comfortable and at ease, will be well presented, keen to learn, reliable.
This team and role are diverse, and you will be dealing with a range of different people, for which you will have excellent customer focus and empathy skills.

- Experience in directing and motivating staff
- Strong ability to influence at all levels through being professional and credible at all times
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work exceptionally well under pressure
- Ability to actively contribute to the Quality Improvements within the service.
- Knowledge of rostering
