Team Coordinator - Outpatients

Contract: Permanent - Full Time

About the Role:

This role is about supporting your administration team. No two days are the same.  It is a busy role but very rewarding, building up relationships within the administration team not only your team but with stakeholders alike.  You will work closely with your team Leader supporting them.  This role also requires you doing reports and going to stakeholder meetings liaising very closely with Clinical Teams, and other Team Leaders. Maintains open, effective and appropriate communication with own team, other teams, clinical staff and patients.

The role works an 8-hour day within operating hours of 7:30am to 5:30pm.

The salary range for this position is $80,186 - $91,281, depending on experience. 

About the Team/Service Location 

Our Teams in Outpatients and Community Health are spread around Wellington Hospital, Kenepuru Community Hospital and Kapiti Health Centre in different departments. Your role is to support your teams and clinical staff. Everyone in the team is treated with respect and kindness.

  • Able to deal with conflict is a must
  • Can effectively cope with Change 
  • Is seen as a direct, truthful individual with empathy 
  • Can negotiate skilfully in tough situations with both internal and external groups
