Service: Infant, Child, Adolescent and Family service (ICAFS) Tautāwhi Team

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Salary:  Nursing Grade 4 (Formally Grade 6) $122,450-$134,036 | Allied steps 13-17 $104,108-$118,982

This role falls under the Allied, Scientific, and Technical workforce pay equity settlement and an increase in designated scales and banding will follow shortly

Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role

The team leader is responsible for ensuring the Tautāwhi team delivers an effective and efficient service that facilitates clinical and cultural excellence and desired health outcomes. They also have a major role to play, in ensuring ICAFS Tautāwhi and ICAFS Kaiārahi teams function in a way that is in balance, mutually supportive and interdependent.

Mō tō mātou rōpū – About our team

The Tautāwhi team is the “front door” team for ICAFS, providing choice appointments, Consult Liaison to Hutt Hospital, working collaboratively with the crisis response team to respond to young people presenting in crisis, providing treatment and group work for young people and their families. 

Moū – About you

We are ideally looking for someone who has a relevant tertiary level qualification and with a current APC who has a passion for leadership and clinical excellence. 

Ideally you would have experience in leadership roles.

We’re also looking for:

  • Be conversant with and committed to working within the CAPA model
  • Good written and oral communication
  • Networking skills and ability to build relationships
  • Experience leading change
  • Be a registered health professional
