Pelvic Health Physiotherapist
Location: Wellington Regional Hospital/ Kenepuru Hospital /Hutt Hospital / Kapiti Health Centre
Contract: Permanent, Part Time (0.75FTE / 30 hours per week) Rostered and Rotating

We are excited to offer the opportunity for an experienced pelvic health Physiotherapist to join our Outpatient Allied Health Outpatients Team at Capital Coast and Hutt Valley on a permanent contract. We work across Wellington Regional Hospital, Kenepuru Community Hospital, Hutt Hospital and Kapiti Health centre. This role is one of three pelvic health physiotherapists who work collegially across 4 sites. This role will manage their own clinical caseload including class/group sessions and potentially assisting in supervision of students and junior physiotherapists. The physiotherapist in this role will assess and treat people with pelvic health issues including acute and chronic presentations.
About the Team/Service Location
The Allied Health Outpatient Team is an outpatient focused team of skilled, motivated and dynamic therapists who are passionate about improving function, quality of life and outcomes for their patients. Working across all three CCDHB sites, the team provide clinical care in individual patient appointments, group sessions and MDT clinics. The team includes physiotherapists working in pelvic health, haemophilia, lymphoedema and respiratory as well as podiatrists, dietitians and social workers working across several areas. This role will additionally work alongside other experienced physiotherapists such as musculoskeletal clinicians, hand therapists and rotational positions.
About you
- You will be at least 4-5 years post graduate, with at least two years’ experience in pelvic health physiotherapy.
- You will be a New Zealand registered Physiotherapist with a current Annual Practising certificate.
- You will have experience in pelvic health outpatient work, and will have completed at least one post graduate internal examination course.
- You will be passionate about pelvic health and be experienced in running both group and one to one sessions.
- You will be comfortable working autonomously, though with support from your pelvic health colleagues in Wellington and with the wider outpatient therapies team in general.
